Here to Celebrate is free to use. To help keep it that way, some links to shops earn us a small commission when you buy something. Here's how that works.

How we earn from links

When you follow a shop link on our site, such as Buy on Amazon in the Gift Finder, a shop link in a gift guide or a link on someone's wishlist, and then buy something, the shop may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.

Programs we belong to

Here to Celebrate is a participant in the Amazon Associates program on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, Here to Celebrate earns from qualifying purchases.

We also use Sovrn Commerce, an affiliate service, for some links to other shops, such as Walmart.ca, and may earn a commission through it.

If we join other affiliate programs, we'll list them here.

What commissions don't change

• What the Gift Finder suggests. Ideas are chosen by fixed rules from your answers (who it's for, their age, what they love and your budget), not by how much a shop pays.
• What our gift guides suggest. The ideas are written for the person you're buying for, and some of them have no shop link at all.
• Prices. The prices we show are typical ranges, trimmed to your budget when you set one, not live prices. The shop always shows the current price before you buy.
• Other people's links. On wishlists, we add our Amazon tag only to Amazon.ca and Amazon.com links, and never replace a tag someone else already added.
• Our emails. Emails about your exchange never contain affiliate links.
• Your privacy. A shop sees the search or product you chose and that you came from heretocelebrate.com. Links through Sovrn Commerce pass through its service on the way to the shop, and it may tell the shop you came through it. We never give shops your name, email address or wishlist. Links to other websites

Shops and other websites we link to are run by others. We don't check or control them and aren't responsible for their content, prices, delivery or returns; their own terms and privacy policies apply. Items on a wishlist are added by the people in an exchange, not by us. Our terms of use say more.
